New Trailer and Sneak Peek at Silent Hill: Revelation

A new trailer for the upcoming Silent Hill: Revelation has been released, and it certainly looks promising. Showing off the creepy dark Alessa Gillespie, the monstrous Pyramid Head, sinister Nurses and several other famous creatures and character from the Silent Hill world. As before, it appears that the original music of the games will be used again for the soundtrack (a great nod to the series and also effective for evoking the horrible, scary memories of gamers familiar with the franchise).

The film is an adaptation of the Konami game Silent Hill 3 and is a sequel to the 2006 film Silent Hill. It follows Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens), who – after a series of nasty nightmares – discovers on the eve of her 18th birthday that her identity is false and her father (Sean Bean) has disappeared, so heads off to the town of Silent Hill for answers.

Also recently revealed is a tense snippet showing Heather Mason trying to save a trapped Vincent Carter (Kit Harington) from a group of terrifying armed Nurses.

Silent Hill: Revelation is due for release in the UK right on time for a creepy Halloween evening out: 31st October, 2012.
