Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC Reaches a Close

Square Enix have announced a nice, but rather saddening statement for all Final Fantasy XIII-2 fans that the final set of downloadable content for the game is now available today via Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN.

The first of the DLC packs is titled; “Lightning’s Story Requiem” which has you relive the battle of Lightning and Caius. This episode includes important information relating to the overall storyline of Final Fantasy XIII-2 and so players are encouraged to complete the game prior to playing through this story. This DLC is be priced at 400 Microsoft Points via Xbox Live and €3.59/ £2.99 via PSN

The second DLC pack titled; “Snow’s Story: Perpetual Battlefield” features Snow, engaged in various battles within the Coliseum after being separated once again from Serah Farron. One particular warrior known as the “Arbiter of Time,” has been watching events unfold at the Coliseum and so should prove a worthy opponent. upon completing the DLC and besting all who stand in your way, Snow will become a permanent party member throughout the game. This DLC is available for 320 Microsoft Points via Xbox live and €2.99 / £2.39 via PSN

Accompanying these are a number of sleek costume packs including Serah’s White Mage outfit and Noel’s Black Mage outfit. The final, and more interesting costume pack is however exclusively reserved for one little bundle of joy. Titled; “Mog’s Outfits: A Wondrous Wardrobe,” this costume pack includes 16 different costume types for Noel and Serah’s Moogle companion to be worn throughout the game which should no doubt make a difference when roaming through the world. These 3 DLC packs are each priced at 240 Microsoft Points via Xbox live and €1.99 / £1.59 via PSN.
