To pretty much no surprise whatsoever, Cervantes has been announced as the latest roster addition for the forthcoming SoulCalibur VI.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that series veteran Cervantes will be in the game, it’s just not really a surprise at this stage, like most of these reveals.  I just hope that leading up to release; we’ll get some new characters announced or new cameos to join The Witcher’s, Geralt of Rivia.  Jack Sparrow anyone?  Only kidding!  Or am I?

However, the pirate known as Cervantes, the once barer of the Soul Edge is badass and it would be quite odd to not have him featured in the latest SoulCalibur game.  So at least, we can expect to see the resurrected Cervantes travelling the seas and claiming the souls of the unfortunate ones that cross his path.

You can watch Cervantes gameplay reveal trailer below, as well as checking out a big batch of new screenshots.  SoulCalibur VI will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 19th.
